<p>You would think watching a two hour movie in a language you don&#8217;t really know would leave you clueless as to what it was about, but with a movie as predictable as <a title="swords though. Come on, who doesn't love swords!?" href="http://www.tiff.net/filmsandschedules/films/kamui" target="_blank">Kamui</a>, it&#8217;s actually no problem at all.</p>
<p>Despite being so predictable (or maybe thanks to it in this case&#8230;?) I really enjoyed the movie. The shots were beautiful, the fights were awesome and the blood was all over the place.</p>
<p>After the movie me and Chie took a stroll in Shibuya and found a place to eat <a title="No need to click this link, I have images right here! I just felt the link was prudent." href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakiniku" target="_blank">yakiniku</a>. Best food I have eaten since I got here. I got a slight stab in my heart when I thought of not being able to get this dish back in Malmö. This is the most social dish I have ever encountered (Possibly matched by tacos. Possibly). It&#8217;s like a luxury version of fondue. It&#8217;s what fondue should be.</p>
<div id="attachment_118" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3863.jpg" rel="lightbox[116]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-118" title="more meat, onegai shimasu" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3863-150x150.jpg" alt="more meat, kudasai" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">more meat, kudasai</p></div>
<p>We were brought tender little slices of meat that we grilled over a beautiful grill in the middle of the table. It was absolutely delicious. After we had grilled half the items, they came and changed the grate to a new spotless one. Fair enough, I mean I could <em>almost</em> see some spots of fat where we had grilled the other pieces of absolutely breathtakingly delicious meat.</p>
<p>After what must have been the meat of angels, we ordered in some noodles to top it off. &#8220;just a small one&#8221; I said and they nodded and I got the small one. Only the small one was a feast in itself. Not just by size, it was absolutely fantastic. It was really spicy, and I don&#8217;t normally go for spicy, but this was incredible.</p>
<p>In the end I had to leave more than half of it, and I felt so bad about it. Firstly because I felt like I was insulting this amazing chef, and secondly because I knew I will never be able to find anything like this back home. And my heart bleeds for it.</p>
<div id="attachment_119" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3865.jpg" rel="lightbox[116]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-119" title="So spicy, so good" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3865-150x150.jpg" alt="So spicy, so good" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">So spicy, so good</p></div>
<p>Chie had cold noodles. They were nice, but it took me by surprise. Serving cold noodles is just not something I ever expected.</p>
<div id="attachment_120" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3866.jpg" rel="lightbox[116]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-120" title="yum!" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3866-150x150.jpg" alt="yum!" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">yum!</p></div>
<p>And for dessert&#8230; gum. Really? Dessert gum? That&#8217;s&#8230; ok, sure, why not.</p>
<p>I get hungry again just thinking about that place. I wonder if they do international delivery&#8230;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m not made out for traveling alone, atleast not for this long. It&#8217;s a fucking fantastic experience, but next time I&#8217;m gonna bring someone that can take care of me, because I&#8217;m obviously not managing myself.</p>
<p>On the first day, with the other swedes, I had 4 pieces of sushi from a conveyor belt sushi-place. Really good sushi, absolutely fantastic. Since then I haven&#8217;t eaten anything. Just getting myself a few apples took 2 days. I still wasn&#8217;t hungry, I just figured I&#8217;d die if I kept not eating.</p>
<p>Last night I met up with a Japanese girl I had talked to before on the web and she showed me around shibuya though, and our first stop was a ramen-shop. We got some really nice ramen, and we looked around the famous 109 mall in Shibuya.</p>
<div id="attachment_93" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3826.jpg" rel="lightbox[88]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-93" title="ramen in a bowl" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3826-150x150.jpg" alt="¥850 ramen" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">¥850 ramen</p></div>
<div id="attachment_90" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3829.jpg" rel="lightbox[88]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-90" title="smallest toilet" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3829-150x150.jpg" alt="couldn't stand straight" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">couldn&#39;t stand straight</p></div>
<p>We also headed off to &#8220;Hub &#8211; the English pub,&#8221; yeah, the English pub that plays Avril Lavigne as loud as a club. Still good times though. I got caught up in a drinking game with the table next to us in naming macdonalds items until someone (me) couldn&#8217;t think of another and then that person had to drink.</p>
<p>Hub also had what must be the smallest toilet I have ever been to.</p>
<p>All of a sudden you&#8217;re walking down the bustling streets of Shinjuku and you see this road where you supposed there was going to be another backstreet full of vending machines. It&#8217;s slightly surreal. It&#8217;s like you only have to look in that direction for all the noise from cars and the people yelling at the stores to just go away. Tranquility in madness.</p>
<div id="attachment_91" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3830.jpg" rel="lightbox[88]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-91" title="tranquility" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3830-150x150.jpg" alt="Aahh~" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Aahh~</p></div>
<p>The fashion around here is great. Loads of the guys look like <a href="http://www.smokeandthink.com/blog/wp-images/media/sawako/host.jpg" rel="lightbox[88]">host</a> <a href="http://nelotte.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/20061208-ouran_high_school_host_club-large-msg-115191165307.jpg" target="_blank" rel="lightbox[88]">club</a> <a href="http://img3.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire2/c6e3cbc1fa7f850df3e36bbd153caa5e1237945439_full.jpg" target="_blank" rel="lightbox[88]">members</a>, but what&#8217;s great is the female fashion. Everyone wearing knee high socks and short skirts or tight jeans shorts. Some girls even have <a href="http://cm1.theinsider.com/media/0/92/79/dita_von_teese_unveils_her_new_wonderbra_lingerie_i_cant_stop_thinking_she_had_sex_with_marilyn_manson_main_3663.0.0.0x0.432x587.jpeg" target="_blank" rel="lightbox[88]">that teasing thing</a> that holds the socks at the waist running up their leg.</p>
<p>I saw a few <a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/de/Gothic_lolita_dress.jpg" target="_blank" rel="lightbox[88]">gothic lolitas</a> in Shibuya too, but they seem to be a dying breed.</p>
<div id="attachment_92" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 160px"><a href="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3813.jpg" rel="lightbox[88]"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-92" title="kitty cat" src="http://japan.orz.eu/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3813-150x150.jpg" alt="widdle kitty" width="150" height="150" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">widdle kitty</p></div>
<p>Also: cats. There were probably a good 50 Japanese clustered around these things, taking pictures and making &#8220;kawaii~!&#8221; exclamations. To be fair, it was incredibly cute.</p>
<p><a title="There is this place inside where all the good things die" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9VKfeSplCU" target="_blank">~like I&#8217;m something to eat</a></p>
